OOTD Roundup, Vol. 10

I'd like to start this off by thanking Mother Nature. Every winter in Texas, my belief in you is tested. I never know what I'm getting when it comes to you and every single winter, I almost snap. You have a way of pushing me right to the edge before coming through with the cold and bringing me back to life. So thank you for this week, but NO thank you for next week's 70º days, you stupid bitch.

I mean. You already know how I feel about this glorious, cozy, FUN, delicious, perfect sweater. My favorite things in life (besides Chipotle, Cece, orgasms, sitting down in the shower, and the perfect parallel parking job) are sprinkles and cold weather, and this sweater combines both of those ON MY BODY. If you buy anything full-price from LOFT, you're a chump which brings me to my next point: this beauty is on sale right now for 40% off with code NEWNOW. It's supposed to be a cozy, oversized fit so order true to size and you're good to go forever. You will need nothing else once you own this sweater. Nothing. Not even love or food or water.

Is it possible to wear a black mock turtleneck without feeling like Mr. Jobs? Methinks not. But I dig it. I found this super affordable and cute one from H&M and couldn't wait to break it out this week and work on Apple devices while wearing it. The coat is a favorite from the store we used to score booty shorts, logo sweatshirts, and lace-trim camisoles from, but has grown up with us and is begging to outfit us in the most age-appropriate way it can: ABERCROMBIE. And they are killing the coat game. Also, are we into backpack-purses? I'm keeping mine regardless of what you say, but still curious.

Y'all, I don't know how this was intended to be worn. All I know is, I wore it with jeans this week and have never felt more alive. It's literally like walking around wrapped up in your bedding all day, but chicer. Plus, it's GAP which means (like LOFT), nothing is ever full-price. It's currently 40% off AND MATERNITY-FRIENDLY (my #1 spec when considering new wardrobe pieces, tbh). I love it and will be wearing it any chance I get (so, around the house A LOT).

Saved the best for last, and this lipstick is LITERALLY THE BEST. My new blogger friend, Matti, tipped me off to it and I haven't been the same since. It's by Charlotte Tilbury, called "Pillow Talk," and is ACTUAL PERFECTION in terms of pink/nude shades. I think I'm in shock by how spot on it is? More than that, it's inspired me to try lip liner for the first time in my life. I've been terrified of it (all I picture with lip liner are old women with only lip liner on and their actual lipstick nowhere to be found), but the accompanying lip liner to this lipstick (also called "Pillow Talk") is the perfect way to ease into that whole scene. Typically, I believe in going in-store to try on lipsticks but I truly think this shade will work on ANYONE. Thank you, Matti. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU.

That's all for now, y'all. Don't forget to give my Gift Guide one last once-over because we're running out of time, people! Oh, and have a great weekend.
