OOTD Roundup, Vol. 7
Y'all, I swear. If Target doesn't stop with it's A New Day line, I'm going to go broke. I'm already teetering on the edge, and one more cute item from them is going to push me over. So, with that said, here are this week's lewks.
Wow. How surprising. Cute ass sneakers from Target 🙄 Ellen and I found these last weekend during our Friday night Target Trip™ and immediately fell in love. They're by DV and such cool kicks. High-top slide-ons? Come on! They're $35, true to size, and come in this taupe color and also navy (if you were watching my story last weekend, Ellen insisted I create a poll for taupe vs. navy and it was a close-call (Ellen got both)).
$35 MENSWEAR BLAZER
Oh wow. ANOTHER Target find? 🙄 SHOCKING. Okay, but seriously, this blazer is incredible. I've been coveting it for a while and went through some online ordering drama to get it, so getting to wear it this week was a big moment for me. The plaid menswear look is trending like Kardashian news this season, and this one is a quarter of the cost of ones I've been seeing. It fits beautifully (I got a 4, which is TTS for me. Keep in mind, it's supposed to fit slightly oversized) and made me feel like an absolute baller. S/O TO TARGET FOREVER.
Do you have a green military-esque jacket? No? Okay, well you need to get one. I don't mean to boss you around, but it's just, like, the rules of feminism that you have one. And GREAT NEWS – mine is ON SALE! But if you don't like it, this one by (YOU FUCKING GUESSED IT) Target is real cute, too.
This entire look made me feel like a Pacific Northwest mom, and I loved it. Getting to combine my favorite button down to date with this clutch ass jacket was exhilarating. I felt alive, y'all.
I wore this $46 dress in a wine color last month. Remember? If not, that's okay. You just need to know that it's a stellar go-to and comes in SEVEN COLORS. I want one of each, but I'm already fighting a losing battle with Target, so I can't really take on anymore debt. This dress is so easy and looks good with or without a jacket, cardigan, coat, etc. It also runs a bit big, so if you're typically in-between sizes, go for the smaller one of the two. I'm like a small and a half, so I got the small and it fits great.
The high in Dallas today is 56º and deciding which fall-time garb I should don was like a weird mashup of the night before Christmas feels but also Sophie's Choice feels. Alas, I settled on this #onbrand, flannel button down that I am in love with. It has bewitched me, body and soul. AND IT HAS POCKETS. SO. Also, this faux fur jacket is old news from some Nordstrom sale a long, long time ago in a galaxy far, far away BUT it's such a great coat that Kenneth Cole keeps making it every year. If it ain't broke...
I hope you enjoyed this week's looks! JK. IDGAF. JK, I give so many (which I wrote a blog about earlier this week).
