YOUR Favorite Underwear For Women

A few weeks ago, I was grabbing for yet another pair of tired old undies that I donโ€™t particularly love but wear anyway because who has the time to research new ones when it hit me: why donโ€™t I just ask YOU guys what YOUR favorite underwear are? I have such a plugged in community with opinions of their own, and I donโ€™t know why I donโ€™t tap into you guys for suggestions more often! I guess Iโ€™m supposed to be the one doing the influencing, but itโ€™s fun to turn the tables every now and again.

FULL DISCLOSURE: I have yet to buy new underwear based on all yโ€™allโ€™s suggestions. Iโ€™m still mulling them over in hopes that I land on what briefs will do for this booty, and Iโ€™m hoping that sharing the full list of suggestions I got from everyone will help me in narrowing down which ones I want to try. And can I say, Yโ€™ALL BE HAVING OPINIONS ABOUT UNDERWEAR. I got nearly 250 suggestions, you guys.

Before I list them all (in no particular order), I do want to say that aerie, Auden at Target, Gap Breathe, and Me Undies were the top four repeated over and over and over. Then again, a lot of the other ones were, too like Pact, Arq, Amazon Basics. Put your current big girl panties on one last time, cause weโ€™re about to upgrade you!

aerie.

Nothing specific, just a resounding AERIE! I will say, Iโ€™ve bought underwear from aerie before, but I bought them too big and never corrected it. They have so many styles and cuts to choose from, but I will say the ribbed seamless boybrief is looking real comfortable and cute. Plus, how can you beat 6 for $25? Ya canโ€™t.

AUDEN AT TARGET.

I know nothing about this brand, but it was mentioned A LOT so it has to be good. There are so many styles to choose from, IDK where to start, but the seamless bikini style looks good right now. SO MUCH TO DISCOVER.

GAP BREATHE.

Okay now these I can attest for. My absolute favorite thongs I own are from the Breathe line at GAP. They feel like a cloud of second skin on top of your skin. For some reason, I didnโ€™t know there are Breathe underwear, too??? Now that I do know this, they very well could be my next purchase. Breathe is a different level of comfort.

MEUNDIES.

Iโ€™ve heard about these on several different podcasts, which has always deterred me. Naturally. However, I know nothing about them and, at first glance, donโ€™t love the look of them. Or the price. BUT a lot of you wrote them in and, HEYโ€”to each their own.

ARQ.

UMMM okay, hi? Iโ€™ve never heard of this brand but theyโ€™re simple, minimal, sustainable, organic and HELLA CUTE. The undies are $28 each, which is very steep and unattractive BUT you get what you pay for and these seem to be worth it. ARQ underwear has officially move to the top of my list.

PACT.

Another sustainable undie line that you guys threw out a few times is Pact. They seem very straightforward, which I love and they also offer 6-packs which I also love a lot. Individually, theyโ€™re $12 and come in a variety of cuts for whatever best suits your cooch. Iโ€™m interested.

AMAZON BASICS.

A LOT of yโ€™all love Amazon Basics undies, and Iโ€™m not surprised. Honestly, these look exactly like the GAP Breathe ones and come in a pack of 4 for $20, so I am eyeing them HARD. I have a thing for soft, heather grey undies, and these look very deserving.

SKIMS.

A handful of yโ€™all begrudgingly admitted that SKIMS underwear is fantastic. It makes me as angry as it does you. I really donโ€™t want to give that family anymore money than they have, so I think Iโ€™ll pass butโ€ฆ they do look really nice. And slimming. And perfect for under dresses and what not. IDK.

Iโ€™m now going to list the rest of yโ€™allโ€™s recommendations with little to no commentary because Iโ€™m not too familiar with most of them and donโ€™t wanna write bullshit just to write something. So here we go:

Calvin Klein

Tommy John

Free Press So Soft Hi-Cut

Hanes Cotton Briefs

Hanky Panky Boy Short

Parade

Girlfriend

(of course theyโ€™re all sold out because Iโ€™m sure theyโ€™re amazing and I WILL add them to my collection)

Jockey Cotton French Cut

Chantelle

Soma

Lane Bryant

COSOMALL on Amazon

Everlane

(UGH THESE LOOK SO GREAT, TOO. HELP!)

Vanity Fair Hipsters

Natori Bliss Cotton Girl Brief

Lively

Breezies

Marks and Spencer

Boody Wear

Iโ€™m overwhelmed all over again and donโ€™t know what to do. This is awful. Please let me know if this list is helpful and what undies you decide on for yourself. God speed.
