Homemade Whipped Cream
In an effort to get more excited about eating berries for dessert, I whipped up my own whipped cream the other night and wanted to bathe in the bowl. This recipe is so simple and so fast — kinda nervous I’ll be making it all the time now. P.S. I cut it in half because one single woman doesn’t need THAT much whipped cream (or does she?).
Homemade Whipped Cream by Add a Pinch
1 cup cold heavy whipping cream
2 tablespoons sugar, honey, or maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon vanilla or other flavorings or liquors
Place mixer bowl and whisk in freezer for at least 20 minutes to chill (this is imperative!)
Pour heavy whipping cream, sugar and vanilla into the cold bowl and whisk on highest speed until medium to stiff peaks form, about 1 minute (try not to over beat)
